OUR MISSION

To provide world class care to athletes and active individuals that strive to improve their game, decrease pain, or find resolution to acute and chronic dysfunctional movement.

Doing Work Differently (5 Pillars)

Family

Family can be determined in many ways. Certainly we don’t detract from blood related family. However, much of what we have learned about family through our experience working with many people is that family is often who you choose to be by your side amidst adversity.

Love

Love is a strong word often used inappropriately. In fact, we feel in many respects it has lost its core meaning. Love is an intense feeling of affection toward someone or something. A brotherhood or sisterhood. A team. A family.

Accountability

Accountability is something we have almost lost the meaning of with our ways of the world. Everyone seems to want to hold people accountable for their actions, which is great. However, we try to shift the focus back to self accountability. Family accountability.

Strength

Strength can and does apply to a host of areas in our life. In sports and activity, strength is equated to how well you will perform. We believe strength across the lifespan is paramount to not only adding years to one’s life, but adding life to one’s years.

Honesty

The world seems to lack honesty and truth in may respects, especially in this time of particularly salty political, economic, and moral unrest. Many are quick to be honest about others’ mistakes, but fail to own their faults.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take my insurance?

No. While we understand that you already pay an arm and a leg for health insurance, it is not advantageous for us as a practice or you as a patient/client to bill your insurance company. We accept cash, personal check, PayPal, and all major credit cards. In addition, we accept HSA and FSA accounts.

If you wish, we can provide a “Super Bill” for you to submit to your insurance. Most of the time, they will apply this toward your deductible or out of pocket maximum. However, we cannot make any guarantees with insurance providers.

Simply consider it investing in your health, wellness, and happiness.

What if I make an appointment and need to cancel?

We understand that life happens. Much of which, especially during the time of COVID-19, is unpredictable at best. That being said, we request a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. The schedule books quickly and there may be someone else who would like that day/time.

If you cancel at the last minute or no show the appointment, you will be billed for the full visit. Please see the specific terms in our financial policy of the intake paperwork.

It is expensive, do you have discounts?

Yes and no. We run special rates periodically under certain conditions.

While we are a business and have bills to pay, we understand that financial hardships occur to the best of people. If there is a specific situation, please let us know. We will make all efforts to work with you on discounted rates, payment plans, or other creative ways to ensure you have access to world class care.

What should I wear to my appointment?

We request you wear athletic clothing. Shorts and a t-shirt are preferable. If it is a new appointment, please bring normal daily wear shoes as well as your primary training shoes so we can evaluate tread patterns. When you enter, we ask that you put your shoes and personal belongings in the white shoe rack on the left hand side to avoid tripping hazards.

We understand that your normal workout gear often consists of constrictive clothing such as yoga pants, compression shorts/shirt, or other form fitting clothing. This is fine; however, tight pants (yoga pants) can be difficult to work with if we need to get to your knees, etc. If we are treating a neck, shoulder, or back  issue, we may ask you to remove your shirt partially or fully to expose the treatment area. Ladies, we ask that you wear a sports bra if this is the case for your treatment needs.

How do I know if you can help me?

We are athletic trainers. Thus, we treat athletes. While some athletic trainers specialize more in on-field injury management and emergency care, we specialize in rehabilitation, manual therapy, injury prevention, biomechanics, and performance enhancement. We help bridge the gap between injury and return to your desired sport or athletic activity.
